Our Program

PCG Academy accepts traditional students, homeschoolers, and student-athletes from all 50 states with our Certificate of Full Accreditation from National Accreditation Council.

PCG is able to offer a fully accredited, personalized curriculum to service a robust group of students from 9th -12th grade.

Students at PCG Academy benefit from an interactive and supportive on-line learning environment that combines academic instruction with individualized guidance. Students have access to certified teachers who respect and support the school’s faith-based values, on-demand tutoring, dedicated mentors, and community-based counselors and pastors who work together to support students and families as they pursue their academic, personal, college, and career goals. ​

Online Learning and Virtual Teacher Interaction

PCG Academy provides students with a flexible online learning environment that combines independent digital coursework with ongoing teacher support and interaction. Students access their courses online, where they complete lessons, instructional videos, interactive activities, assignments, quizzes, projects, and assessments at a pace that allows them to meet established academic requirements while maintaining flexibility in their daily schedules.

Although students complete much of their coursework online, they are not expected to learn without human support. Students participate in monthly virtual interactions with teachers, providing opportunities to discuss academic progress, review course material, ask questions, receive feedback, and address areas where additional assistance may be needed. Teachers help monitor student progress and provide guidance to keep students engaged and moving toward successful course completion. Students may also receive additional academic support and tutoring when needed.

This blended approach combines the flexibility of asynchronous online learning with meaningful teacher interaction, allowing students to develop independence and time-management skills while still maintaining a connection with educators who support their academic growth and success.

 

Interactive Learning 

​PCG Academy’s interactive course content is designed to create an engaging and student-centered online learning experience. Students have access to interactive visuals, including matching activities, flashcards, games, and other learning exercises, that reinforce important concepts and encourage active participation. Educational videos, accompanied by transcripts, provide additional ways for students to understand, review, and retain course material while supporting different learning styles. Built-in assignments and interactive activities allow students to apply what they have learned while making the educational experience more enjoyable. Together, these resources help transform online learning from simply reading information into an interactive, flexible, and engaging academic experience that supports student understanding, participation, and academic success.

Personalized Learning

PCG Academy supports personalized learning by giving students opportunities to demonstrate their understanding in ways that complement their individual strengths and learning styles. Depending on the course and assignment, students may have the flexibility to show mastery by writing an essay, developing a slide presentation, or creating a multimedia presentation. These options encourage creativity, critical thinking, and student engagement while allowing learners to take greater ownership of their educational experience.

Lessons include an overview of the timeline, activities, and outcome.

Students can better plan their learning because each lesson includes a list of detailed learning outcomes, activities, and time estimates to complete the lesson.

​NCAA Approved Courses

Students who participate in competitive sports struggle to find a balance between athletics and academics, and there are nearly half a million NCAA student athletes who compete in 24 different sports every year. PCG is CLEARED and APPROVE by the NCAA to offer NCAA Approved Course. PCG Academy offers a flexible instructional model and curriculum in ELA, math, social studies, science, and world languages that are approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for online instruction of student athletes.
